After learning the violin with Alexander Balenescu, Bradley studied at Trinity College of Music, London. While at Trinity he joined with three colleagues to form the Sterling String Quartet with whom he played for seven years, giving recitals throughout Europe as well as in the United Kingdom. As well as leading the Aurelian Symphony Orchestra he is also guest leader of the Essex Symphony Orchestra.
Solo work includes performances of The Lark Ascending with the Brentwood Philharmonic Orchestra and at St. Albans Abbey with the Aurelian Symphony Orchestra and Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola with the Brentwood Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is currently Head of Orchestral Studies at the Redbridge Music Service, where he enjoys conducting the Symphony Orchestra as well as the Senior String Orchestra
Florian graduated with a music degree from Durham University in 2012, where he focused on orchestration, conducting and research into the Russian composer Shostakovich. He is a multi-instrumentalist (cello, bass and piano) and enjoys music spanning a variety of genres. He studied conducting under Ray Farr from 2009-2012 and has conducted the Sunderland Symphony Orchestra, the Reg Vardy Brass Band and as regular conductor of the Durham University Symphony Orchestra.
He is very active as musical director of musical theatre and big bands and is Musical Director of the London-based Seven Steps Big Band, a 20 piecejazz ensemble which performs at prestigious London venues.
As orchestrator and arranger, Florian works across many genres and his arrangements have been performed extensively in the UK and abroad. A highlight was the commission to orchestrate the musical The Confession Room by Dan Looney for 11-piece orchestra, recorded on a concept album on which Florian also played the bass guitar.
