Clive Troubman (bagpipes)
Clive bought a set of practice pipes as a souvenir when on a trip to Edinburgh with some friends. Some years later one of these friends married a Scotsman, and insisted Clive play “Amazing Grace” (thankfully the easiest tune in the pipe repertoire) at her wedding. Having survived the trauma, Clive decided to learn the pipes properly, and five years later is regularly playing in amateur competitions in Scotland.
By day Clive works as an Educational Psychologist.
Clive is a member of the Epping Forest Pipe Band, who play in the Modern MacGregor tartan, which he is wearing tonight.
